  • I can tell that you are being genuine in this video, and I appreciate that very much. I too was recently let down by someone in a leadership position that claims to be a Christian. I am a Shaman, and I just wanted to say that I liked your overall message in this video ;-)

  • Thanks for letting me know. I am encouraged by your positive remarks and hopeful that you do not let this person's let-down prevent you from seeking out his belief system. For what its worth...I am sorry on his or her behalf!

  • I was referring to vestments in church buildings, not TV preachers only. Would you think the same if Jim Wallis or John Spong or John Dear, SJ were on TV? It's the main idea of religion: you have to trust someone who's not there.

  • I don't know who these men are. But it doesn't matter anyway. You, me, and Jesus have something in common...none of us like religion. Religion is man's attempt to find God and we mess it up rather well. Christianity teaches that God comes to us on His terms through Christ and doesn't demand the traditions and trappings of man-made religious practice but rather a real & authentic relationship with Him. Do even Christian churches mess this up. Absolutely. But that is the point of this vid.

  • The worst thing about christianity is so expensive and you have to watch people in weird clothes and you have to sing stupid songs. Ever seen a "Reverend", like Sharpton or Wright or Falwell? They're all idiots and loud and come from backwards cultures that have only these opportunities for men to make lots of money and so they did this instead of becoming honest pimps. So I'm glad I'm an atheist; but at leasat the xtians let you drink and don't make women wear stupid clothes.

  • LOL! It appears your critiques are primarily of TV Christianity...which is hardly a good example of authentic churches. But I've sung my fair share of songs that I didn't like and I've seen a fashion challenged Christian or two!
