@MazhabiSingh mazhabi what is that
-
wow....that is some real time blade-swinging,i wonder what happens when anything alive comes under that sword...great fighters indeed.
-
They are shadow sparring in this video... if they were in a 1v1 situation, i doubt you would call it a dance.
-
Proud to be a mazhabi sikh! No sikhism without us!
-
gatka cannot be done with the heavier swords that were used by the nihang singhs
-
nope its much closer to a dance than shastar vidiya
-
maybe u should learn shastar vidiya instead?
-
yes but gatka is still a dance, even shastar vidiya practitioners would consider gatka a dance!

After Ranjit Singh unified Punjab, he was fighting for purely imperialistic ambitions (which is something I am not ashamed of). There was nothing holy about his wars. He did try to impose Sikh rule forcibly on Muslim territories. My intention of calling Nihangs as crusaders was not to vilify them but to draw the parallel between crusaders as holy warriors of Christianity and Nihangs as holy warriors of Sikhism.
-
which part of my language needs minding you ingnorant twit, you talk about crusades yet being called an idiot appauls you, sikh revilted agaist and stood their ground against islamic oppression, we didnt go to saudi arabia to conquer them we defended against them when they seeked to come to india and rule. there were no muslims in india, it was brought to us and we rose against crusaders and conquers, we we never went to impose our beliefs on others.
-
Mind ur language bro. Maharaja Ranjit Singh did rule over Muslim dominated Kashmir and NWFP against their will. If not religious it was definitely imperial conquest. His army was led by Akali Phula Singh and his Nihangs. Get ur facts and history correct and stop living in utopia.

lemme tell u those swords r heavy as hell!
idiot, they are not crusaders, sikhs never have or ever will go on crusades, whether it be to dominate, conquer or convert, sikhs protect those from oppression - not carrry out oppression missions themselves.
