An ALIE Project from Belgium in Authentic Learning:
ANIMAL SITTING PROJECT, Part 2
The 6th year pupils of animal care started with 3 projects as part af Authentic learning:
1. An animal specialist shop
2. Support for a childrens farm
3. An Animal Sitting Project
The 3 projects were developed during the lessons Projects and Seminars, given by Mr. Delanotte. The pupils had to work out a whole project in groups of 4/5 on an independent base. You can see how the Animal Sitting Project came to life and evolved into a successful business. The project won the Award as the most original learning company of Flanders. On the video you find pictures and film material made by the pupils themselves.
