  • You guys REALLY need to lay off Jackie. He's a brilliant actor and he'll do a great job. You guys are judging him before you even see the film.

  • They had better go with an 'R' rating on this movie. I don't want another "Unborn" piece of crap.

  • Grrr...Bayer. I cannot say words worthy enough to capture the beating that will take place from me to your face. You do not deserve to sit next to Jackie.

Brad, Robert was supportive...but have you heard what he's had to say about the remake after he watched it? He really complimented one actor, but it wasn't Jackie.

Jackie, Krueger within this film was still a tortured soul. He was always wanting to go back.

  • @crypticsacrifice seen it now..... and it sucked.

  • Robert Englund is awesome. Hands down will always be Freddy. But...of course common sense will tell everyone that Robert can't be Freddy forever and since it was always common sense that one day the role would be passed down to someone else, Jackie is a great great choice. He did a wonderful job. I loved it and i hope for a 2nd.

  • i'm sure this guy playing freddy in this movie is great and all but without robert englund, i have no interest in this film, robert is freddy krueger and no one does freddy like him, no one, period

  • @nWo24life that was meant to say I WOULDN'T say brilliant. The guy is good, but with the exception of 'Watchmen' and 'Little Children', what else has he done that was all that great? Really? If I'm wrong, point it out to me and I'll gladly say I was. His version of Freddy was just like watching his 'Watchmen' performance again. The vocal delievery was almost identical.

  • @crypticsacrifice I have seen the film. I do think Jackie is a great actor (I would say brilliant. Al Pacino is brilliant. Jack Nicholson is brilliant) and I think he TRIED to do a great job. With that said, Sam Bayer's terrible direction and that horrible script kept him from being a good Freddy. He was nowhere near as effective as Robert Englund. Judging from word of mouth and reviews...I'm not alone on that assumption.

DJ Matt From The DJ Mix Show

  • 109Thunder you took the words right out off my mouth thank you. Growing up watching all the nightmare on elm street films and freddy's nightmares on t.v you can't have anyone play the role off freddy apart from the man himself, a true actor Robert Englund!

  • Robert Englund is always Freddie. This clown is no comparison. Wont even waste my time seeing it.

  • jackie earl haley was going to play johnny depp's role in 1984 but hes role was not accepted
