Don't try that with a Glock or other "Finger Safety" firearm or you will end up shooting yourself like an idiot.

yeah brotha you gotta love teh hip shootin

@Warpath2198 Nope, not standard issue military training. Like I said, it's great to practice that draw (I do), but practicing close unarmed defense would be also very beneficial.

@Warpath2198 I do know what I'm talking about. I've been trained by many professionals. It's great to practice that kind of draw, but if the target is that close, you need to focus on unarmed combatives in order to disorient your opponent and gain distance to draw your firearm.
Just providing feedback, that's all. Take it or leave it. :)

@millerusaf that is funny since I train panic shot all the time. In fact many Federal agencies train it all the time, so do many specialized schools. This technique has also been used in the old west. Next time know what you are talking about before posting.

Go watch some Gabe Suarez training videos and learn "real life" tactics. Front sight doesn't compare and I have DVD's from both. Gabe won't try to sell you a condo either.

His comment was regarding the safe action of carrying a Glock while chambered. Glock doesn't use external safety that needs to be clicked off before firing, yet the internal safety of the Glock makes it safe to carry chambered in a semi auto handgun. Has nothing to do with a hammer.
-
true that.. gabriel is too big to need a gun, you smell me? after seeing this video again, looks more like a close call... but good control of the gun...peace..

fuck front sights, Gabe Suarez teaches better tech, than FS or the gay center of axis relock
His finger is indexed until the muzzle clears his body. His gun handling is fine.

@millerusaf I hope you are not talking about the military because quite frankly they hand out terrible training when it comes to sidearms.
