and they dont send most to slaughter. it is vindictive clueless liars such as yourself that get people riled up. I own mustangs and I train mustangs from the BLM. Mustangs that were rounded up and send to holding facilities to await their adoption or placement into programs by the MHF, which I am involved in. So please, don confuse the public. You obviously didnt check the website becuase I can tell you it does not say anywhere on there that they go to slaughter.

@gallopingnjumping (cont.) over 10 years old or that had been unsuccessfully adopted after 3 adoptions, these mustangs are known as Sale Authority or 3 Strikes mustangs, and the new law was enacted in 2005 by Senator Burns and Congress, not BLM, which states "they must be sold without limitations".
Please put the blame where it belongs, not BLM. And then write the White House and umplore them to restore the WH&B Act to what it was BEFORE the Sale Authority Act was signed into law

@gallopingnjumping Pretty video, but misleading. No offence intended. BLM does not, and never has, sent mustangs to slaughter. When one adopts, you have to sign an agreement that the adopter will never send it to slaughter either. Sadly, there are those that do so anyway, after they have received title one year after adoption. But it is NOT the BLM doing it.
Neither is BLM responsible for the Burns Ammendment, that was S. Conrad Burns of MT that stripped away protections of mustangs over 10

Everyone wants to end the life of the mustangs? And from other poster-They are rounded up by the thousands, and hauled to slaughter? No to both. Not hardly. If that were true, how did I, and others adopt our mustangs? You need to check your information. I adopted thru the BLM which is also tied with the Mustang Heritage Foundation.

@shycountrymiss Well im sorry i got my information wrong.. Don't be getting mad.. But they do send most to slaughter i've gone to their website and i think it depends.. Some might do adoption okay?
