A-OK Highlight: Get into the arts at A-OK Detroit!

Check out this sneak peek for one of the fun things to look out for at the September 9, A-OK Service Day event. Volunteers will have the opportunity to get creative in using art for social awareness on food security in Detroit.

The A-OK art will provide an opportunity for self-expression, self-definition, and social awareness. These educational and community enhancing activities will engage the volunteers in learning about the issue of food security and educate the community about the topic.

A-OK Service day will partner with Arts & Scraps to assemble food kits that will raise awareness and educate students across metro Detroit on food security. If you haven't registered to volunteer yet, let's get the ball rolling - only a few weeks left until the big day.
