Dave got a Makerbot Thing-O-Matic 3D printer. A look at what's inside the box, plus some bonus rants.
if it takes this long to un-box, how long will it take to build?

  • boy you gotta love black solder mask... it takes me to a fun place in my mind for some reason.

  • @gabrielfinol After working at Altium for years, I've had a gut full of black solder mask! And it had to be the right shade of black! :-/

  • Dave, makerbot sucks, man such as your skill should get a prusa mendel. there is great guy called gregfrost in aus who can sell you kit cheaper then makerbot and certainly better

  • @karandex I got this for free, I wasn't going to turn it down.

  • Hey Dave, awesome that you got yourself a makerbot now! Recently I've been trying to figure out how to program generic devices such as the MC9S08QD4 from freescale. I know your using a micro from freescale in your lab power supply and was wondering if maybe in the next video show us how to program such a device. Or maybe you could post some links to tutorials? That would be awesome. Thanks!
