  • Do these work the same muscles as deadlifts? If they work different ones, what are they?

  • @Mrmagiccity27 both Deadlift & Stiff Leg Deadlifts target the lower back but the difference is in the stabilizing muscles used. They both work the glutes but the difference is that regular deadlifts use the quads a lot whereas this variation stresses the hamstrings instead.

  • Maybe wear some shorter shorts so they wont restrict your motion so much

  • Thumbs up if you watched because she has a nice ass!

  • Why would you elevate your heels and take the stretch out of the hamstrings and glutes, when this is afterall a lift to target hams and glutes?

  • not the best form but i enjoyed watching for some reason

  • Has this been posted before, she got a phat ass.

  • thumbs up if they should call this stiff-dick deadlift

  • @UPYOURMASSca what he is getting at that by elevating the heels, you minimize the stretch on the posterior chain, which will subsequently minimize the recruitment of the hamstrings. Remember, the muscle that is stretched the most will get the most recruitment. Plantarflexing the ankle reduces the stretch. So, in conclusion, he doesn't "need to try it"...he understands basic biomechanics.

  • I watched this just for the ass.

  • @UPYOURMASSca I totally agree. She is definitely standing on some kind of board to increase the exercises "range of motion" and seems to be on her heels at all times. At the end of the movement, you will see her reach out away from her body. This is an effort to target more of the lower back and less of the rest of the posterior chain. I actually saw Jay Cutler do this exact same movement in one of his videos. Props to you my friend on knowing what your doing. Keep up the good work!!

  • Do these muscles work the same ones as sex? If they do will you havve sex with me?

  • Goodness, dead lifts never looked so good.
