I may joke about the president, but I trust his judgement. He's got a lot of expert in economics and medicine consulting him about this reform and I trust his decision.

Nevermind, "taking to the streets" is not the answer. If we were to have another revolution, we would have to revolt differently ---

What Bush proved when he took away all rights of all U.S. citizens, by declaring that he could arrest anybody and hold, torture or kill them howsoever he pleased, that there are no "inalienable" rights for anyone.
We can however decide to give rights. If we organize (and I'm talking about the good and decent people of the world, not the neo-Nazi, Fox News loving crazies) we can make healthcare a right for all people in the U.S. just as it is in most industrial countries in the world.

Jay,
YOU miss the fact that YOUR Dem party's health care bill will STILL leave 24 MILLION people with OUT coverage???
That's MORE than 1/2 of those 47 MILLION obamer "promised" would get .."the health care coverage they deserve"????
And did YOU miss the CBO's report that the FORCED health care insurance that WE MUST buy will be HIGHER and NOT lower as obamer... "families will see a $2,500 DROP in their insurance premiums????
And did YOU know that obamer is STILL using the Patriot Act?

If a person is trying to get somewhere and some people block their path, you do not blame the person for not being able to get where they want to go, you blame the people blocking their path. Pres. Obama is trying to get all 47 million covered, at the moment, the Republicans and some Democrats are blocking that proposal, so we can only get 23 million people. Hopefully, these obstructionists will be voted out in 2010 and we can move forward.
Premiums will be lower for all when the bill passes.

So again for YOU liberals.. YOUR party has the "majority" vote and need NO GOP votes at all to pass anything they want to shove down OUR throats... so what's the "excuse" now???
And DO read the accounts of the Congressional Budget Office reports on the "estimated" costs of the premiums WE will be FORCED to pay!
Premiums will be HIGHER!

AND.... the polls are STILL showing gains for the GOP and NOT the Dems!
But... 2010 WILL be interesting especially IF the Dems pass ANY of these plans! LOL

fraser,
And those on "food stamps" will INCREASE big time as obamer & the Dems FORCE us to buy health care insurance, pay HIGHER taxes, Cap & Trade taxes, a National Sales Tax of up to 20% on TOP of our existing taxes...

Where do I get in line for food stamps when I won't be able to afford to go to the grocery store????
