AND nothing has really improved economically for main street since 2008. The majority of strip malls are only half occupied with retailers. Those retailers are mostly services like nails, hair salons, etc. Unbeknownst to the Americans, their economy was downgraded from first world status down to second world status. The senators that passed this bailout live in gate communities or offshore with their money. Money they don't pay taxes on or buy American goods and services.
