"143" by Jake Shimabukuro @40th Annual Ukulele Festival in Waikiki 2010

I salvaged as much as I could from my video. It was crowded and if someone stood up or walked in front of the camera, that pretty much was it. But the audio was pretty decent so I slipped in Waikiki beach shots or clips of Jake in place of someone's back, head, etc.

Also, no tripod so you can tell from the jostling of people moving around.

Otherwise, a great event in Waikiki. It was mostly overcast with sunshine and a little rain but a really pleasant day to be outside!

I just heard Jake last night at teh SF Jazz Festival (March 26th, 2011) Wow. Kid is realyy talemted. He played this piece and many otheres off teh new album. he does a terrific one-man show if you get a chance to hear him. he's as goo dlive as aything you've ever heard on the web...

I L.O.V.E. Jake Shimabukuro!!!!! He gets so into it. You can tell he's really happy when he performs.... He looks like a little boy on Cristmas morning...

Haha! River was all like, "You gotta feel the music!" and he was doing the same thing all exaggerated... lol

I loved the festival though! Great talent! That James Hill dude was awesome too!!!!

The cool thing is Jake rocks out on Ukulele! It's like a rock concert!!!!
