I love my outlander ... try to gas it with 4wd auto in sand and go sideways! it's super safe cause the beach has no sidewalks and it feel's like a rally car!!

i totally agree with you! most people tend to judge a car by its maker in which they know shit about, they can buy there hundred thousand dollar car from europeanan companies which will fail on them as soon as they go off road.
no affence to any of you who drive a european company suv.

i got the same jeep, the stock small wheels and the single capped exhaust, thats a V4 like mine 185 hp they say in the book but in reality only 170. its a great car. i went on the sand dunes and in mud and once u put it on 4wd LOck! nothing can stop this. its pretty good. the only comment i have to make is that the fan is a bit noisy and when the revs get to 2000 RPM theres no roar but a disspointing exhaust note

Hello Raptor. My Outie is a 220 HP V6. It's a 2007 LS model and inline 4 cylinders where not available in may 2007 in Canada. Yes I do have 16'' wheels but my exhaust has the double tip, not the single one. Still, it's a great car/SUV, it is a bit noisy when you squeze the HP's out of it, but overall, I really like this vehicule. With all the snow we get up here I really appreciate the AWD/4 lock features.

Yes this is a V6 with 220 HP AWD. The 2008 model can be ordered with a in-line 4 with 170 HP

should have put the center control in 4wd lock .. front wheel spin in the las few meters.... with 4wd lock 60% of torque goes to the rear

Elave16, You are absolutly right. This was was very first offroad try, I have since then learned a lot :) Winter 2008/2009 will be my second winter with it and I cant wait to laugh at all the snow will get.
