  • Better not brickwall this album

  • the only reason im getting the remasters is because of the possibility that they are throwing in whole second and thrid discs of unrealeased material, as Billy said. Thats EPIC.

  • @MistaaMojoRisin I don't think there's going to be any remixing done except for Machina. Just remastering. But, I hope they remaster them the same way they mastered the first albums because they did a fine just on all of those.

  • @MistaaMojoRisin Just as long as we don't let George Lucas touch them...

  • One person thinks the Pumpkins' first CD was Mellon Collie.

  • @TheVoiceAndTheSnake Ohh, gotcha. Sorry. So many idiots on youtube immediately make me assume that comments are negative.I agree. I really hope Gish and Siamese Dream aren't ruined.

  • @MistaaMojoRisin I agree with you. I was just trying to make a bold statement on how important this album is in comparrison to their latter discography (and to me) and that Billy shouldnt change anything on a drastic level. I also hope that Billy won't compress it so much that it becomes a candidate to "Loudness War."

  • @TheVoiceAndTheSnake I don't really see how anything you said really related to my post, unless you were agreeing with me that Billy needs to not go crazy with remixing and remastering this.

  • @MistaaMojoRisin this album pretty much sums up everything i love about music. From the majestic opener of "I Am One", the neo-psychedelica of "Siva", the slow trance of "Rhinocerus", the hard rock of "Bury Me", the heart felt ballad of "Crush", the meditative state of "Suffer", the dynamics of "Snail", the catchy single of "Tristessa", the end all be all of "Window Paine", and the folky tales of "Daydream". Everything about this album is perfect.

  • I hope the sound quality isn't as jumbled and tracked together and non-changing and collectively quiet as Zeitgeist and anything they've done semi-recently. If it is, well, I really don't think fans will even appreciate these reissues, and it'll be hard to get people into the Pumpkins without the original charm of the changing volumes and noise being present. The loud sections where distortion kicks on during quiet songs make the Pumpkins. Mayonaise. Rhinoceros. Soma. Don't screw this up, Billy.
