This is a video guide on obtaining the Drake Sword in Dark Souls. You can get this sword by cutting off the Red Dragon's tail in the undead burg by shooting a bunch of arrows into it.

No, you should need 16 Strength to wield it properly.

@GameFrontDotCom is there anyway to get a bow and some arrows without using the merchant, because i killed him.

I did it an easier and faster way. I had the dragon come down on the bridge then with a broadsword that i enchanted with gold pine resin i went straight for his tail and cut it of in a few hits. Easy.
