I made this video for my Pychology Class when the teacher told us that we could do anything for our final project. I decided to do my project on the pychology of hope, so i walked around Asheville one day with my roommate and asked people to define hope.

Thanks for only interviewing white middle class, largely college age individuals to whom hope may come easier. The nonrepresentative sample used reinforces the invisiblility of the underpriveleged in Asheville. I would be much more interested in how people who live without view hope.

Wow. This seems scripted. Everyone has pretty much the same definition of hope.
"I hope I'll go to heaven"
"Hope is God"
"I hope I'll get to be with Jesus"
"Hope is faith that tomorrow will be better than today" (Because I'll be in heaven).
Yup. Totally spontaneous. Oh, wait. Is your psychology class in a theological school? That would explain a lot.
