  • I usually did open them up a lot more, that was just a fluke. And those mallets (IP 1002's) were kind of the necessary medium between the soft for low register and hard for high. I'd have liked to have harder ones for the last part, but it's mess up the low register, so yeah.

    I liked them a bit more open, and I picked a lot of my own stickings, those mallets sound good on the low register, how did they do for those last few measures?
