Broken chords are played in the intro of the song. The chords are c# minor, d# minor 7th with the 5th (I hope I said that correctly), G# Major, A Major, c# minor again, A Dominant 7th, and A13 (the F# note one octave above the A). That's the best explanation I can give you.
