It's one week before Christmas. 2,948 American families will be missing a family member this Christmas due to this immoral war in Iraq. According to a recent study it is estimated that around 650,000 Iraqis have also died since the war begin. This Christmas we need to all take time out of our busy holiday schedules to think about those who have been killed in the Iraq war. It is up to us to make sure that this coming year brings many changes to help get our country back on track. Christmas celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ - who taught love, compassion, understanding, and most of all PEACE. Let this holiday remind us that peace is a possible goal and that we have much work to do in order to achieve it.

  • My friend Tony just got sent over on December 6th 2010...He will be gone for 6 months....Be safe Tony. :*****(

  • i agree with bring our soliders back but if we dont get rid of the terrioests they will just come back again and again. the russians were not able to stop them and after help them they turned on us and blow up the twin towers so if we dont stop them now the'll just come back with more attacks at home.

  • This video brings me back to the 60s when Simon and Garfunkel released a version of Silent Night/six O'clock News. It was interlaced with a haunting track in the background of news coming from Walter Conkrite reading the news relating to the escalating war in Vietnam.

Thank you for doing this video. Beautifully done and it shows the human cost of this war, regardless of race or nationality.

  • really we need to think more about are soldiers not the people who started the war the disurvie to die are soldiers fight for more then what iraq does so think more of the unitied state and this is coming from someone who has lost 5 people in wawr that had children that i now have to take care of

  • War will never end while innocent people are always fearing for their lives and always praying for another day to live. No, while there are still enemies of freedom, war cannot end.

We fight because there is no one to protect the innocent people while their home is being rebuilt. We fight so that others may follow and fight with us for their freedoms; to fight for their friends and families. If it is what humans do best, it's to fight.

  • War & Killing is wrong. No culture/society is 'better' than the other. We are all one family called Humanity. Some of us thirst for killing & war whilst others work for Peace. I am not Christian but I think in the Bible it does say "Blessed are the Peacemakers for they will be called sons of God". I can only hope that one day (probably when I am long gone) Humanity will have stopped killing itself & find the Peace it so desperately wants & needs.

  • As much as we all hate war, we can't end it yet sadly. If war is not in Iraq, then it'll be in America. Then we will be the ones dying and losing even more loved ones. I have love for those who are innocent in Iraq, but this is my country and I have love for it and the innocent people here too.

  • I think that we could stop thinking in term of right or immoral about this war for a while. I think that we should only think that this war is not far away from us. This war is nearer than we can imagine.
