@juarezdenver hes already ahead of McCaffrey's pace for career. Decker had 600 yards last year, Ed didn't hit that until his 3rd, then didn't come close to 1,000 until he was 30. THIRTY years old. Decker hasn't been working with the best qbs, give him some time. He was doing find until DT got healthy then they just forced the ball to him instead. Eric Decker is a tough physical receiver that will get the job done, don't rule him out
McCaffrey was a real football player. It's hard to say that about many of today's wideouts. I watched Ed shrug off hits that would have put most current receivers out of the game. He was one of the last of a now-dead breed.
Decker may be wearing 87, but McCaffrey owns that number. Anyone who is old enough to remember him knows that. Thank you for years of enjoyment, Ed!
@phiten40 That's why you HAVE to respect the receivers from Ed's era, they went up against safetys and corners that weren't afriad of being fined for every hit.
Brandon Lloyd could catch but he's always so afraid of the hit he just falls down after every reception. Idk if he has problems holding on to the ball or what but it makes me sad. You're right. Real football is in the past.
