In all honesty, the question is racist from the get-go: "Who's your favorite black person?" Really? Pardon the pun, but looking at humanity as a black-and-white species is wrong. We're all humans, period. It's insulting to qualify M.L.K.'s accomplishments by saying, "He was a great black man," or, "He's my favorite black person." He was a great HUMAN BEING, period. No qualifiers. Just truth.
