Morse at Hoover (Jan. 20)

Highlights from the Eastern League showdown between Hoover and Morse on Jan. 20. In a battle for city bragging rights, second-ranked Hoover used pressure and a balanced offensive attack to down Morse 75-62 and claim sole possession of first place in league. Guard Chris Jones led Hoover with 20 points and was one of five Cardinals in double figures. For Morse, guard Alphonso Wilson scored a game-high 21 points in a losing effort.
