Albert Collins was one great true friend of mine,he was a very humble person, never forgot where he came from or how he got there. We had great times together. When ever he played at the fame Rockerfellows club in Houston,Tx he would always request that I had my guitar and amp with me, so I could play with him,if I didn"t have my gear he would tell me to go home and get it.Thanks to all of you that dig Albert he was one of a kind, peace and love:Jerry Green

I saw Albert play at Rockefeller Hall on Washington Ave....actually on Washington Ave. He had a very long guitar cord and he would actually walk out and play on the street. Unreal scene in Houston in the mid / late 80's and early 90's. Good times for sure.. Shows were something to see back then. Music was raw and cool. "I ain't drunk, I'm just drinkin"

Thanks for the post. I recorded this on VHS when it originally aired, and I literally wore that tape out. Incredible performance! No one will ever match his intensity and power.

Just a KICK ASS video. Thanks for posting. We all WISH we could have a band like that, and a ripping guitar player like Albert. What an overall sound!

I remember seeing this when it came on TV for the first time when it aired. And I though my God his band is so fuk'n tight. He was as about as cool as it can get. Truly a one of kind. Why does it seem all the best came from Texas. :)
