2yr old wild mare Ivy came in from the wild already pregnant. She and her herd mates were rounded up and would have been sent to Mexico if it was't for Equine Outreach Horse Rescue in Bend Oregon. Now, months later on February 17th at 5:15 pm, Ivy gave birth to a beautiful healthy filly. Ivy was lucky enough to be adopted by a wonderful family who is also fostering another wild pregnant mother.
~Thanks for watching~
It is a beautiful moment that you have shared but I must agree with hoofs2010...you should have created a peaceful setting for her so she could relax instead of being agitated. I also don't understand why you guys jumped in and rubbed the foal down instead of just letting mum do what she needed to do. I'm sorry but I feel there was too much noize and too much unnecessary intervention.

Let me be the first to say that, that was adorable!! I love the mare the the filly-3 my mom has a trot horse called Ninnucia and I went to see the birth in Italy with my mom when we went to go check on the pregnant mare called Vaicarlina, and her father was a well known trot horse called Enjoy Lavec:)
