Im in the market right now for a new compact car!! And i test drive the Mini S and the SX4 Sportback and i go over the Suzuki any time!!! plus is not to expensive car an very reliable car. no like the MINI!!! Sorry but is the true!

I don't understand this hate for the sx4 all because of a commercial that's 2 years old. Now I recently bought a sx4 cuz it was affordable and my first car in my name. But i've test driven a mini and it is a great car a tad pricey but still very nice car. But i would never compare the sx4 to a mini, other then being both hatches they're in very different classes. But sometimes people just need a inexpensive simple car to go from A to B, the AWD is just a perk but as for mini fan boys, um relax.

I think a better commercial would have showed the two vehicles in the five plus inches of snow like we get here in Illinois. Then you could really see the value in the sx4. I saw the mini has a awd version now but it doesn't come close in price. Suzuki's been doing it a long time. I've owned sidekicks, samurais, and currently a '01 tracker. At least those drivetrains are solid and easy to work on if need be.
