  • @tr4c3r01 so its like they used the nardo as a set up for the veyron. correct?

  • The Nardo was never built to be a production car. It existed only as a test bed for new ideas.

    Ideas that then were put into cars made by VW.

    The Phaeton, and Bently got the W12 engine, Bugatti got some of the styling based on aero tests, and some of the other things designed went into the Phaeton, which itself was primarily a test bed for things that ended up in the Bugatti.

    Keep in mind, VW was working on a Bugatti at the same time they were doing the Nardo.
