Please. The church is not the bride of Jesus. The Bible tells us clearly who the bride of Jesus is and yet all christians reject it. In Revelations 21 John was shown Jesus' bride coming down out of heaven from God and what did John see? It wasn't the church. It was the Holy City New Jerusalem. So why do you christians continue to claim that the church is the bride? Does God lie? Was John mistaken? Remember the warning about adding to and taking away from the words of this Prophesy.

Polygamy isn't a Mormon life style. It is a Godly life style.These men of God all had more than one wife and they were all righteous before God, Abraham, Jacob and David All you who claim that Polygamy is an ungodly life style have no understanding of scripture nor of Jesus and you seek to make Jesus to be a liar. You will accept that which God condemns while rejecting that which God does not condemn and you call yourselves christians. If your a christian then obey Jesus and stop following men.

God is not afraid to speak his mind, God speaks out against Homosexuality, witchcraft, and many other sins, but what is this he does NOT speak against a man having more then 1 wife. NO where will you read that a man who has more then 1 wife is to die or not allowed in haven. So why do the church say we cant love our WIVES?

no, God in the OT and NT does not forbid polygamy. rmemeber, DO NOT ADD commands, DO NOT subtract.. So if God condmens it, its forbidden, if God is silent- then its permissible

there is nothing in the bible that says a man is not allowed more than one wife. However, it does lay down laws on how we should treat our spouses and children. I don' t believe my husband could love more than one woman the way that
God has commanded, but if he decided that he should marry another woman or two, I would appreciate the help with the house work. lol

Zeramourn, if you don't understand the stupidity of your question, then I think you've answered your own question. To actually look at all the facts and say that Joseph Smith was visited and ordained by God, yes, you are stupid and irrational. If your "belief" is so important, why don't you research it a little more if you're really interested in objective truth. Joseph Smith was a total fraud and a liar, and if you believe he wasn't, yes, you are stupid.
