In spite of the fact that the "govt" does not want to post essential information online, it is still available to some extent if you look for it, and that is the main reason why the "govt" is attempting to shut down the Internet, to keep the people ignorant. The gov. likes having uninformed citizens because they are easier to control, like how Rep blame the financial crisis on Obama's spending, and their voters actually believe them.
