Here is a sample of my first grape harvest, in England, October 2009.......complete with munching sounds.....My vine lives outside, on a south-east faving wall. Its a Victorian variety, from a cutting given to me by a friend's neighbour who grows grapes in a lean-to conservatory. Take a cutting about 10cm long, lay it flat on some compost, it roots, then sprouts, four years later, GRAPES!. This year we had an 'indian summer': probably helped the grapes ripen. About 4 weeks ago, then began turning purple. (The green plate is from Ikea).
