As the guy Matt's talking about in this video, I thought I should reply to this message. I didn't start this project because America is some perfect paradise. We got poverty right here at home. But you can turn on water in the dirtiest public fountain and its still cleaner than 99% of the stuff in the developing world. We may not have universal health care - but no one dies due to lack of $2 for malaria medication.
There's a reason poverty in that part of the world is called "extreme" poverty.
