Everything is possible to model in 3D Studio max and in many other programs like XSI but its rather for animation than for moddeling. We can also use Maya or Light Wave but I personally prefere 3D Studio Max because it's interface is simple and the easiest for me... After all it seems easy to merge to almost every program on earth such a sceen made in 3D. Its possible on many ways, isn't it?
ha it was a long time ago yes, but i just thought it would be nice to reply anyway ^^ being nice never hurt anybody...unfortunatly being nice does have down sides.
There are plugins for various 3D modelers in creating custom sculpted primitives via a mesh, then you can upload the mesh as a coded texture that conveys they vertexes of the model. You can find the plugins by searching "Sculpted Prims" on the SecondLifeWiki.
