@rosco1peco So true. Not only that but the deer vs vehicle incidents skyrocket, especially in farm country. not to mention crop damage etc etc from large populations. Turkeys are the same way, large flocks have been proven to destroy certain crops.

wish we could use dogs for turkey in NY I know my dogs would love it,and it would make my life easy& would be more exciting for me. I dont know why we cant use dogs its not like we can get more turkey were still are only allowed 1 turkey who cares how easy or harder it was to get that turkey.Make it legal to use dogs NY DEC.Cool Video

@doopeydoh over protecting deer is worse than hunting! if populations are not kept in check by MANAGEMENT hunting tags then serious diseases develop like Cronic Wasting Disease (CWD). in an over protected area in alberta deer developed cwd and mass die offs occoured. the result, all deer in a 100 KM (1mile=1.3 km) radius died from the disease or were put down due to being infected. if you anti hunters win and hunting is no longer allowed animal populations will crash. try hiking in a dead forest

we hunters help the environment by stopping overpopulation spread of disease. Also most of us only kill what we will eat. I donate extra meat to the soup kitchen to help the needy. bad hunters give good hunters bad names.Tree huggers don't watch hunting videos just to comment on our life style........... get a life

I love hunting with my bird dogs. I know a lot of you out there don’t agree us outdoorsmen when it comes to the kill but we have to it’s genetic. You know its like you “veggies and huggies” being fucking pussies, again it’s genetic. Not that long ago, you guys made great bait for those dangerous predator hunts. Of course after the kill we drank and celebrated with your women and fed them our “meat”. Yeah, they loved it! Your mama too!

I was reading some of the comments back, and I just wanted to note that the dogs r not always pointers, they are often mutts and crossbreeds, but any dog who has the drive will work.
