i think it was a bit lenient due to the fact shabana had 6 game balls and the point wasnt too significant, plus they got on well, so i think it was more of a sportsman like gesture because shabana wanted to win the game fairly without controversy
@Monkey200728 I have seen a point where they just concede the points after the referee had made the decision. So i guess this sort of over-ruling is possible.
@Monkey200728 good question. i have often wondered about this rule. I haev called a stroke on a opponent for blocking the wall infront of me, to save me hitting a ball up his backside and my opponent disputed the call, so the next time i went for the shot and hit him. difficult one
@Monkey200728 I guess they're allowed to it even though they don't encourage it. In this point I guess the refs acknowledged his sportsmanship and let him play a let.
The ref must have said Stroke as that is the call when a player hits another like that...
So Shabana over-ruled the ref by saying Let himself... Can players do that on the World Tour? No official rule on that? Or just a grey-area, unofficial, let-it-slide sort of thing since Shabana was penalising himself? Thx

Thx, I still wonder if they have an official written rule on this though. Probably not.
