VexxK1, they absolutely CAN decide to screen for sex offenders since they are on the King County website here (with a photo and a description of their offenses). The company has daycare centers inside all of their gyms and children are naked in the locker rooms. In some states it's illegal for convicted sex offenders to join gyms. One of our members was Ken Freeman who was the nations #1 most wanted child abuser (look his story up on America's Most Wanted website). 24 Hr Fitness doesn't care.

@SuperCrossup How would you suppose they screen for sex offenders? Compare every person that walks through the door against the list of offenders? Then what? Deny them service and face a lawsuit? According to the law, if a sex offender has been released from prison, he or she has served his or her debt to society. As such, it is not the responsibility of a private corporation.

The 24 Hour Fitness in West Seattle has 2 members that are level II sex offenders who were both convicted of class A felonies for first-degree child molestation. They both work out there almost daily for years now. These two are on the King County Sex Offender website at the same residential address. I just found out recently that these two are both convicted child molesters. Why does 24 Hour Fitness let level II sex offenders become members at all? Kids use this gym and they have a daycare.

Good and Interesting promo. Good cinematography but I didn't like the fact that there was no Sound Effects throughout the video until the robber hit the car. It felt off. But nice video overall.

i love this commercial, but mostly because this HAS been real life. there was a story locally awhile back where some guy went to a local gym (it WAS a 24 hour fitness) and tried to abduct someone that was just coming out of the gym. needless to say she got away. sorry, but being fit imo can be the difference between getting away.... or not.
