Another new Movie "Nanking Nanking " is in the making by a Chinese movie director Lu Chuan(陆川).CHINESE director Lu Chuan is to start shooting an epic war movie featuring the Nanjing Massacre in June after receiving official approval for the project.

The film, to be titled "Nanjing! Nanjing!", has been approved by the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT), and filming is expected to start in June and be completed by the end of the year.

Lu said he hoped to shoot "a true Chinese war and disaster film." The movie would feature a scene in which 40,000 people are killed, Lu said.

The cost of production is expected to surpass 200 million yuan (US$25.64 million), and would include a reconstruction of 1930s Nanjing in Jilin Province at a cost of 16 million yuan.

It is one of four movies on the Nanjing Massacre this year, the 70th anniversary of the atrocity, but it is the only one yet to be approved by the SARFT.

Lu studied in a military school for four years in Nanjing. "When I was at the school, I heard so many stories about the Nanjing Massacre, and I have always wanted to shoot a film about the event."

"We've spent two years collecting historical documents about the massacre. I will try to make history clear and explain it in the movie, rather than expose the sorrow between nations."

Cannes winner Maggie Cheung has refused Lu's invitation to play a leading role in the film.

The Nanjing Massacre occurred in December 1937 when Japanese troops occupied Nanjing, then capital of China. More than 300,000 Chinese are believed to have been murdered in the slaughter.

  • (Part2)On the contrary, some of the pictures, which were claimed to have been taken at the time of the massacre, have never indicated the date, the places, and the names of photographers. Also, some of them are showing the entirely different things, and others are forged ones. Even the Chinese cannot have proved the Nanking Massacre.

  • (Part1)Some of the photos and videos, which obviously show restoration of order in the Safety Zone immediately after the seizure of Nanking, and also the documentary films which show the Chinese citizens rushing to get ID cards. These photos and films are made by the trustworthy sources, and coincided with the witness of over 100 Japanese correspondents dispatched to Nanking then.

  • (Part2)Also most of hospitals must have been busy of the big baby boom. China has been accusing the Japanese rape crimes of Nanking happened in China in December 1937 to January 1938, so a lot of babies must have born on October and November in 1938. The number of babies who were half Japanese and Chinese should have been 18,400. Have you heard 18,400 of Japanese and Chinese mixed parentage babies were born in China?

  • (Part1)Have you seen a data of The Rape of Berlin? The incident was happened in the summer of 1945, Soviet soldiers raped many German ladies, and they massacred so many German people. At that time the pregnancy rate was 23%. Chinese government has accused Japan that 20,000 to 80,000 of Chinese women were raped by Japanese soldiers. How many babies should have been born in Nanking? Many women should have become pregnant after a set period of time.
