Love Never Fails- Episode 11

Sorry it's been so long! I've had a lot going on lately! But lucky for you I'm posting today :)

I explained how Jean-Luc asked me out and everything on the car ride home. "Well I'm glad he makes you happy," Nick said smiling. Isn't he the greatest friend in the world or what? He parked in front of his house and we got out. He unlocked the front door, just as his mom was about to walk out. "Oh, hey mom," he said. "Hi, Denise," I said trying to be polite. "Hi, Demi," she said, "You're here with Nick?" I nodded. "You don't mind if she stays do you, mom?" Nick asked. "Not at all," she said, "But I'm going to be out running some errands for a while. Joe and Keving will be home though and Frankie's over at a friends house, so you stay out of trouble okay?" "Mom, we're not little kids anymore," Nick protested. His mom laughed. "Alright then, you two have fun," she said as she walked out the door. "C'mon," Nick said as we walked up stairs carrying all of our books and bags.

I laid on my stomach on Nick's bed writing out those lame math problems while Nick was sitting on the floor against the bed, book in hand, do the same thing. "Oh my gosh, " he said frustrated, "I STILL can't figure out number 8!" I laughed. "16, genius," I said teasing him. "You think you're so smart," he teased. "Pshh I did the impossible, I figured out number 8," I said, laughing. "Don't rub it in," he said jokingly. "Okay, I won't rub in the fact that I'm smarter than you and I figured out question 8 wayyy before you could," I said, teasing him. "That's it, you asked for it!" he said, laughing as he stood up and started to tickle me, non-stop. I was laughing uncontrollably. "St-stop! It tickles! N-Nicholas I'm gonna kill you!" I said through my laughter. Suddenly the door burst open and Nick and I stopped and looked up. "Will you keep it down in here Nick?! I-" And then he saw me. He looked from Nick, to me, and back to Nick. I stared back at him for a minute then automatically looked away from his gaze. I didn't want to make any eye contact, because knowing myself, if I stared into his eyes I'd probably fall in love with him all over again. "Sorry, bro," Nick said, we were just messing around. "Yeah well... just keep it down okay?" he said in a softer voice. Obviously seeing me made a difference. Then he turned around and closed the door. Nick looked at me. "You okay?" he asked. "Yeah...I'm fine..." I said quitely. Nick pulled me into a side hug. "Remember your big date tonight, you're gonna be fine," Nick said trying to comfort me. I nodded, then all of a sudden my eyes widened. "The date...Oh my gosh what time is it?!" I asked.


-With Joe-

I had just finished downloading 6 new songs into my iPod when the doorbell rang. I waited for a few minutes hoping someone else would get it, but then I heard it again. I sighed as I got up and walked all the way downstairs and opened the door to find a guy with short brown hair and actually pretty tall standing on our doorstep. "Umm, hi, is Demi here?" he asked. I looked at him, confused. "Umm why?" I asked. "We were gonna go out tonight," he said casually. I froze. What?! She's already going out with some other guy?! Just then Demi came out of Nick's room and started running down the stairs, Nick following behind her. She stopped to a halt when she saw the guy. "Jean-Luc, oh my gosh I'm sooo sorry," she said. "It's alright," he said, smiling back at her,"Your mom told me you were over here so I just decided to get you here instead." "Oh...okay," Demi said smiling at him. I couldn't help but glare at him. "I'll see you later Nick!" Demi said, starting to walk and the door, "And uhh...Joe..." she said less enthusiastically. As she walked away with...what's his name again? Whatever. I stared as she got into his car and they drove off. I stood there not moving at all. Nick put a hand on my shoulder, "Dude are you okay?" he asked. I shook his and off, then I went up to my room, grabbed my keys and started to walk out the door. "Where are you going?!" Nick called after me. "None of your buisness!" I yelled as I got into my car and drove off.


-With Nick-

This can't be good. If I know Joe, he's probably driving after Demi. He's going to ruin everything for her! I wouldn't let him do that. I ran upstairs and grabbed my own keys, then ran outside, got in my car and drove after him.
