How long have u been playing? I've been playing since February and I'm learning the solo to give it all it's my second solo first was another brick in the wall and I'm trying to get a time frame on when I can play real fast without messing up even though it depends on how much a person practices

increase speed. That way, you are training your fingers and brain the correct way to play it and that muscle memory will allow you to play it accurately when you gradually increase the temp. This is how i approach every solo or song that I try to learn. No, i still don't play as cleanly as i want to, but this way of learning has helped me. Maybe it will work for you. Good Luck!

well, thats pretty much impossible to answer, every one learns differently and at a different pace. I've been playing for a looonnggg time, and I will tell you the best lesson that I was ever taught. Speed is the byproduct of accuracy. Muscle memory can be your best friend or your worst nightmare playing guitar. If you play something fast and sloppy, you are ingraining that sloppy play in your brain in your muscle memory. Play it slow enough so you can play it with NO mistakes and slowly
