I personally think its about time we loose the Daedalus ship design's and go for something abit more powerful. The Daedalus is based upon all of SG1's accomplishments. Now with the entire city of Atlantis built upon the ancients pinnacle of technology. It's time to see a bit more powerful ships with Asgard and Lantean technology integrated into the design perhaps even a Stargate aboard.

@stads24 I think that they destroyed the gate when the Ori armies returned back to their home galaxy at the end of Ark of Truth.
