I use this sound in nearly every song I make. Lots of people have asked me to make a tutorial on how I make it - so this is for you. Using this tutorial you will be able to produce the Supersaw/Trance Synthn

  • Great sound! Did you mean to leave osc B2 on the sine? I noticed you didn't change it to sawtooth and it does change the timbre somewhat.

  • @LeviWhalenMusic shit! - yes, sorry all osc meant to be saw waves! royally stuffed up this tut - oh well just listened to the vid and the sound actually still comes out alright haha!

  • @nzmusic101 haha its cool! It just gives it a more "ethereal" sound, so in a way its just less punchy.

  • @LeviWhalenMusic exactly!

  • haha you never turned on the reverb! I <3 Enzed.

  • @yourmom09 damn im good! Enzed loves you too bro :-)

  • Great tutorial - you forgot to turn on the reverb in the end though?

Other than that brilliant, I'm going to go through your tutorials and learn as I go. Think this sound would be good for a LMFAO / RedOne (in Enrique's I Like It) synth 'stabby' effect - Watch out for me when I've produced a couple of tracks, I hope to be as good as you someday!

  • Your the first Sylenth1 tutorial I've seen with a real license. Respect.

  • Great tutorial ;) You wanna turn the voices up, to get a fatter and bigger sound. Play with the drive in both parts. Choose 12db filter for the high-end and 24db filter for the low-end. With a supersaw you don't want any soft keys, so the wave should be set to saw on all 4 oscillators. The supersaw FX parameters has a good tweaking point at 33.33% or 66.66%.

  • @vijayweemhoff Sylenth

  • It seems so simple but it still sounds greater than any sound I've made!

  • whats the plug in called?

  • kiaora dude! thanks tutorial!:-)

  • @nzmusic101 did you download your sylenth 2.2 if so could you send me a link?
