Kristoff Krane, local hip-hop artist, pseudo-guitarist, and all-around cool guy, joined a ragtag cast of The Mid-Morning Drive! for about an hour's worth of music and chatter. Chris riffed a bit on guitar, rhymed over some beats, and talked about his life as an artist, a husband, and a person. He sliced some ginger, did his thing, and ended the night with a big hug for each of us -- to break the scene, he's one of the most down-to-earth nationally-distributed acts I've ever had the privilege of sharing some ginger with.

The Mid-Morning Drive! is the most disorganized piece of student media in recent history. Co-piloted by DJs Nighthawk and Beard, the show features anything from ten-minute rants about the Minnesota Twins to sets including both Gogol Bordello and Count Basie. All the same, they're live most Wednesday nights, 8-10 p.m. CST, at http://www.hamline.edu/radio. Stay neurotic, Minnesota.

@glass509 When Chris stopped in the studio, he made a quip about not really being that much of a guitarist. My apologies; it wasn't supposed to be a comment on his skill, just a reference to something he said.
