like what george carlin says, there is no such thing as rights, we made them up...Either we have unlimited rights, or no rights at all. (Rights can't be taken away)

i agree that things like food, shelter, and healthcare aren't rights, but i heard rand paul make this same slavery comparison in front of bernie sanders and other members of congress and he made a total ass of himself. exaggerating the argument will only discredit it.

@Akelz77 A shame that citizenships can't be traded.

@ludaXkillz Believe that if you want, but there has been violence and conflict in Africa for thousands of years, just as there has been conflict and violence in Europe, Asia and the Americans for thousands of years. Ethnic violence often exists in tribal societies. Europe is not responsible for this. Europe and America will benefit by the existence of rich, free African countries and have no interest in Africans being poor. Anyway, I don't see what is gained by continuosly debating this.

@DarthMaul8065 (Cont) The only conflict there was that one group was in power in the past because they got power from the "White Africans". They abused their power, then the other group then regained power and wanted revenge; that's where the conflict starts.

@DarthMaul8065 I'm speaking of past events as in 1970 and before. Before the mid 90's, most African nations were still fighting for their independence. These century long struggles have left African nations in ruin and they are still trying to rebuild from the ruin. By "most ethnic conflicts" I meant from the years of colonization until present time. You reference Rwanda and then say Europe isn't responsible for African Ethnic conflicts.

"Millions of Third World people have already demonstrated their ability to create, in the aggregate, vast amounts of wealth, even if their tangled legal systems have not yet demonstrated an ability to let that wealth readily become property that can be used for further expansion and development.”

@ludaXkillz “In short, although property rights are often thought of as things that are important primarily to the affluent and the rich, these legal recognitions of existing assets may be especially needed by poor individuals in poor countries, if they do not wish to continue to be poor....

Sowell writes: "One implication of this is that some Third World countries could gain the use of more capital by making property rights more accessible within their own borders than by a ten-fold increase in the amount of foreign aid they receive. Moreover, the increased capital would be in the hands of millions of ordinary people, while foreign aid goes into the hands of the political elite...

@ludaXkillz ??? Most ethnic conflict is between different tribes of Africans. Have you heard of the post-election violence in Kenya or the Rwandan genocide??? The only ethnic conflict witih whites in Africa is persecution of white people in Zimbabwe and violence against whites in South Africa. These are white Africans, btw, not "Europeans". But this is tiny compared to the ethnic violence between black Africans. Europe is not responsible for African ethnic conflicts.
