  • G'day Motzart Merve! Mate I was working those rudder and aileron controls they were nearly at the end of their workable range that day. But I will be putting a new video on Utube soon of my Skyranger with the new HD 120 degree sports camera I've purchased.

  • g'day mate! Does the 230 have a similar flying feel to the 160? I'm flying 160 at the moment and thinking about buying a 230. what are the advantages of the 230 over 160? nice vid.

  • @yeu7nuoc7viet G'day mate! They both fly quite well. The 230 gets along a bit quicker and has a different feel in the circuit. However, I'm not a fan of the Jab motor. I have bought a kit Skyranger Swift and a Rotax 912 uls to go with it. Flies even better than the Jab, and can still get about 85 to 90 kts in the cruise.

  • Man you make it look so easy

  • Nice video..Good job.. (rudder and aileron co-ordination needs work)

  • @THEMAN080 Yup crosswind notice how after lift off he points the nose to the left to counteract drift.

  • so claim and collected looks fantastic

  • Very nice Video. There are a lot of People on the other side of the globe waiting for the first video from your next project. Best regards from Estonia.

  • Yeah I was thinking of just creating some straps for my camera and hanging it on the headset holders. Might look into your method as well :) By the way, seen the start up of your Skyranger, Rotax engine sounds beautiful! Thinking of saving to buy a Preceptor Super Pup with a Rotax 503.

  • Yeah it was more for the benefit of theman. You were right in suspecting a crosswind. I used my yokemount for my garman 296 which I don't use for the gps. I clamp the mount to the 230 frame just behind the flap bar that goes across the cabin roof. I think the 160 is similar. I did my training in a 160 and 230. I am currently building a Skyranger, check out my other videos.
