Chatham will join an orchestra of the city's best guitarists to perform several of his seminal works in the beautiful surroundings of The Bluecoat. Having worked with Arthur Russel, LaMonte Young, Sonic Youth, Steve Reich and Philip Glass, Chatham has been at the forefront of experimental guitar and minimalist music for over thirty years. This is a very rare performance from one of modern musics true greats.

In support a.P.A.t.T. will perform a piece for synthesizers mirroring chathams guitar, bass and drum set up composed by Jon Hering.

THE HIVE COLLECTIVE will be installing an interactive work based on well known riffs adapted for the public to create sound and visual works (this will be free and in the Bluecoat hub from the 23rd)

Following their critically acclaimed debut 12" on Low Point Records and shows with the likes of Philip Jeck, EX-EASTER ISLAND HEAD will be performing several works for mallet guitars, these will take place at 3pm, 5pm and 7pm (for free in the Bluecoat hub)
