Jericho CBS TV: A Warning

Jericho is a disturbingly well done TV Series that begs the question: Are we being warned? If so by whom?
This is not a simple movie, the plots are thick and well planned. One can imagine this happening. Are reactions being tested? You can bet they are.

I am hooked on this series. Just found it on netflix and stay up late to watch the next episode. I do not watch commercial TV. I am only up to episode 8 of the first season, but what "Message" do you think is trying to be conveyed? What was Fail-Safe's 1964 Movie's message? It is entertaining, I'll give it that.

Hollywood seems to give us glimpses of the future, and Jericho is a great example. What I personally learned from it is how I might react to authorities such as Blackwater. How would you defend your family? This is more of a warning that mere entertainment. After all, this IS happening in other countries that we are at "war" with, and we hear about the bad things happening, so this is not fiction.

Its Fictional Entertainment - 'This couldn't have been written?' Are you serious?

Ever heard of Dr. Strangelove? Writers have based Film and Television Drama around military and polotics for 60 years - Ravenwood? Yes - its called the read the New York Times about the REAL Mercenaries in IRAQ.

The whole idea of the show is for ENTERTAINMENT. Yes - it does have some politcal themes - but EVERYTHING does. The show writers are talented and creative, why do you think its not possible to write?

Its FICITION - You dont have to get something 'approved' by the government - in order to show - - - I dont understand what your trying to say - that we shouldn't air shows like this because 'it puts ideas in peoples heads?' I personally LOVE Jericho - and its not 'preparing' us for anything -

Its ENTERTAINMENT - Have you ever seen a war movie? Its DRAMA - they dont have a polictal point - they are simply trying to ENTERTAIN people.
