  • I think the director said in this movie to keep the camera on vivien during the scene because of her great beauty eventhough an unknown at the time.

  • Imagine that! Vivien Leigh as practically an extra...who wouldhave thought that four years later she woulld star as Scarlett O' Hara in one of the greatest, if not the greatest, film of all time.

  • She(Leigh) only had this one line of dialogue - "If you are not made headmistress, I shan't come back next term."

    But the movie is said to good comedy made in 1935.
