I shouldn't even say this, but it is better to forget the hot springs and just stay up on top, there is water up there and you are on top of the world looking out over the ocean.

I agree. I enjoy Pine Ridge Camp. I find that camp to be easy to get to from Tassajara RD, and the views are breathtaking. But there is a pleasure in doing a through hike from Tassajara Rd to Big Sur.
