I love how Aniak gave her right back when you gave the baby to her to give her a little break from stressing over her baby. It was like "Nah I trust you - take her - more shrimp?"

Im just curious, is the mother trained to bring her baby over to the trainers or is it just natural for her to do that b/c she knows them & wanted to show her newborn to them>?. Cute.

@wow85 Aniak was trained to bring her pup over to the biologists. She was hesitant in the beginning, but through repetition and positive reinforcement she understood that the biologists were there to just take a look at her pup and not cause harm.
