Shenzhen Geniatech Co. Ltd http://www.geniatech.net presents some interesting Android Powered Set-top-boxes. These could be sold for around $100 like the Apple TV or Roku box, but they just run the full Android OS including support for lots of video codecs. While Android is not yet really optimized for use on a TV with a remote control, this type of device will support the Google TV software (in this case, without HDMI pass-through overlay features) pretty soon once Google releases that software source code.

I await an Android TV Blur Ray player. In fact Google TV is already integrated in few Blu Ray players particularly this Sony Blu Ray player I was checkin out the other day.
If Android TV could be integrated (properly) into a Blu Ray player then this would be really fantastic for me. I could use Android to run all my cd/dvd/blu ray burned data files including photo's and HD video from my discs...
Oh technology how I love so :)
