Kizzy is done for the winter at Chris's place. She's headed home to Kyle Lane for the duck season. This is when it'll all come together and that light will click on for that lil' girl and she completely understands what all this training has been about. Chris tells us where Kizzy's at and how well she has progressed.

  • I take that back... Im sure she is a great finished dog.

  • She might be finished for duck hunting, but they are working towards Seniors, Masters, and a finished title. She needs to rely on the trainer as well as use her nose. If you watched you could see her hunt for that blind as well as take a cast. She's doing great and I'm sure she'll be a great finished dog.

  • That dog is finished IMO. She does all she need to do to get any duck. I actually have learned that it is bad to constanty steer the dog exactly where you want her, my main goal is to get her a little down wind and let her nose take it from there. If you keep steering her in practice she might rely too much on you in the field, i have seen dog that if they havent seen the duck they just turn and look at the trainer instead of hunting for it herself, especially if she is in the right area.

  • Man right there knows what the heck he's talkin bout when it comes to dogs dont he. Maybe i will take a pup to him one day

  • Freddy great video as usual. You did a great job with her.

  • Freddy you did a great job on her basics. I got a friend that has a boomer pup that is a quick learner and can mark with the best of them.

  • great dog,my dog is a little over three months, she has basic whistle commands down, she likes to fetch when she feels like it. any hints on how to increase her desire to retrieve the dummy? thanks for help.

  • Great work guys. Kizzy is amazing for her age thanks to all of your efforts. I am enjoying this string very much. Thank you!

My two year old girl weighs 58 pounds @ 21 inches tall. With the exception of two out crossings, every dog in her five generations goes directly to Super Chief/Honcho.

She "has tons of desire" .

  • Yes I got it just have not got around to sending you a Reply
