  • @Beakasaurus if you need more "wiggle" room you should check out a fender deluxe reverb. Similar in tone but with more headroom. The main difference is the deluxe reverb has more wattage

  • @threetonesb im now thinking bogner to go with the champ.........wat u been up 2.........

  • Nice, I have on of these bad boys, same year. These are fantastic amplifiers, nice playing to.

  • @EdgeofGreen The Production Number on Fender tube charts doesn't indicate the order of manufacture of that particular AMP - it indicates which run of a group of amps that was made during that year. Production Number 1 may actually be on thousands of amps. It'd be really tough to identify the exact first amp that was made in any given year.

  • Thanks for your post. This is what I have been thinking of when looking for a mostly clean, classic, low volume sound for my blues-jazz solo stuff. My Mesa F-30 is awesome but is hard to hold back - it wants to go high gain quickly. I need more clean wiggle room and the Princeton could be the answer.

  • the NV has more head room and sounds better than the reverb model,, I like them with a tube screamer..

  • I have a RI 65. Have you had a chance to compare both?

  • I was just playing my uncles 1965 pinseton, his was the first one made in 1965, the production number is 1
